TSR have claimed their second consecutive Slideways Enduro Series crown, with a one-two result in the tenth and final round of the 2017 season.
Out of the nine rounds the team contested at Slideways Go Karting World Pimpama, TSR claimed the top step of the podium five times, and never finished off the podium in the other races, with the title going down to the wire in the final event.
Second for the season went to the Global Action Photography crew, who claimed an impressive four race wins throughout the season, including the inaugural two-hour race in May.
CTS Motorsports meanwhile sealed third in the final run down, with the highlight of their year being victory in the three-hour long Pepsi Max National Hire Kart Challenge.
TSR and sister outfit 2TSR locked out the front row of the field with respective starting drivers Michael Seeto and Liam Hydes.
Camron Robertson placed Global Action Photography third on the grid, ahead of CTS Motorsports, the 1788 Kangaroos, Les Femmes Kangourous, newcomers DRS Motorsports and GJK Racing, with Team Toirkens starting ninth, from Multi 21, the Old Dogs and a third new team, The Drifters.
From the race start, the top three leapt ahead to lead in a tight pack, with the entire field engaged in battles for the duration of the first of three stints.
Prior to the opening stops, Global Action Photography dropped back, with the team losing more time with a tardy first driver change.
2TSR meanwhile showed that the understudies had the pace to take the fight right to the lead squad, setting the fastest lap of the race with a 43.355sec, although they fell just short at the chequered flag, finishing second by only 0.392sec.
At the completion of 90 laps, Global Action Photography were 27.448sec behind the leaders in third, with CTS Motorsports next home in fourth.
The 1788 Kangaroos did just enough to hold out the Les Femmes Kangourous in fifth and sixth, while the Old Dogs rounded out their first season of racing with another competitive drive in seventh.
Team Toirkens were next home, from GJK Racing, DRS Racing, Multi 21 and The Drifters.
With the Slideways Enduro Series now wrapped up, all attention focusses on the final round of the Slideways Sprint Racing Series, scheduled for December 3, with classes for drivers aged seven and up.
Following that is the Slideways Christmas Cup on December 10, an Enduro with an emphasis on fun, with the day supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
Full details will be announced in the coming weeks through the Slideways social media channels, as well as on our dedicated Go Karting Gold Coast Race Days web page.
