Mostert, eight times a race winner in Supercars competition, recently claimed the Bathurst 6 Hour, in a triumphant return to Mount Panorama. Now driving under the SuperCheap Auto banner for Prodrive Racing Australia, Mostert has three pole positions and a pair of podium finishes to his credit this season.

A veteran of the Australian motorsport scene, Morris has three Australian Super Touring Championships to his name, and these days is seen behind the wheel of a variety of equipment, including Sprint Cars and Stadium Super Trucks.

For the record, Mostert was the second quickest driver overall for the day with a lap time of 44:712sec on our indoor circuit.

Shane Van Gisbergen also recently dropped by for his first race around our new facility, setting a best time of 51.7sec on the full indoor and outdoor circuit.

The Kiwi this season has stepped up to race for Red Bull Racing Australia alongside Jamie Whincup in Supercars competition, and since visiting Slideways Go Karting Gold Coast, he has gone on to win the Sunday feature race at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Circuit after registering a pair of pole positions.

Following Darwin, SVG headed to France and Circuit Paul Ricard for the third round of the Blancpain Endurance Series, which he promptly won in a McLaren.

The result backs up his victory in the opening round at England’s Silverstone Circuit, and his victory in the opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge Series, the Bathurst 12 Hour.

On Red Bull Racing Australia, the team recently dropped by our sister facility, Slideways Go Karting Brisbane for a Friday afternoon race… which understandably got quite competitive!
