Streamline Karting came from the back row of the grid to claim an entertaining sixth round of the Slideways Enduro Series at Slideways Go Karting World Pimpama.
The breakthrough win came via quick, clean pit stops, with Christian Bishop’s opening stint paving the way for Jacques Goodman’s middle sector, which earned the youngster the best and fairest award for the evening, with Phil Edwards charging to the lead in the final leg.
Next up for the Slideways Enduro Series is the big one, the venue’s first ever six-hour long endurance race, set for the reverse track direction on Friday September 28th.
In other upcoming events, the Slideways Sprint Racing Series and the Slideways Ladies Sprint Cup return next Wednesday (August 8th) with a reverse track direction meet, followed by the Slideways Junior and Cadet Racing Series on Sunday August 19th.
Competitors are reminded that early bird entries to all Slideways events entitle to the driver to a free bonus practice session prior to the race.

The grid for the evening’s 75-minute-long regular direction three driver race was determined by five-minutes of qualifying for all competitors, with combined times for each team determining the starting order.
Claiming the top spot was GJK Racing, continuing their strong recent form, from the 1788 Kangaroos, the Notorious B.U.S. Drivers, Global Action Photography, Streamline Karting and GTR- Girls That Race.
Topping the individual sessions were Keenan Faulkner (39.884sec), Liam Hydes (39.775sec) and Cameron Wood (39.638sec), with a total of seven drivers setting times under the 40-second mark.
From the top spot, GJK racing led away in the opening stint, being chased hard by the 1788 Kangaroos, while Streamline Karting applied maximum pressure to Global Action Photography.
The Notorious B.U.S drivers joined the party of three in the battle for the lead, while Streamline eventually forged their way into fourth position.
The middle stanza saw Streamline chase down GJK Racing, before the battle heated up after the final round of pit stops.
GJK Racing held down a slender advantage over the 1788 Kangaroos, with the two teams tripping over each other at turn one, with Streamline jumping into the lead from third at the next corner with an opportunistic move.
The 1788 Kangaroos eventually got the better of GJK Racing, to finish 14.9seconds behind Streamline at the chequered flag, with GJK Racing just holding on to third after a fantastic duel to the end with fourth placed Global Action.
The Notorious B.U.S. drivers drove solidly to just fall off the lead lap in the closing stages, with GTR rounding out the finishers.
The fastest time of the night went to Goodman (39.321sec), while Phil Durrington earned the encouragement award for the evening.
