Our 2020 Slideways Championship is the cream of the crop. Designed for the budding racer who wants to step it up a notch from the Home Series. The Championship Series has 6 rounds comprised of 2 rounds at each venue and is designed to test drivers abilities to adapt to different tracks. Motorsport is expensive and we pride ourselves highly on providing a cost effective way to get your racing fix and furthering your motorsport career!
Not only will you get yourself top quality racing at a fraction of the cost Winners of each Category earn themselves some serious seat time with the Cadets winner going on with a $720 Scholarship into the 2021 Slideways Championship whilst Juniors & Open winners will get behind the wheel of the Slideways Excel Race car and go racing at the 2021 Qld Raceway Enduro, not before getting in some test time at Norwell Motorplex!
Each Race Event will feature 3 Categories
Cadets (7 to 11 years old)
Juniors (12 to 15 years old)
Open (15 years and above)
Event Dates
Rnd 1: February 16th – Gold Coast
Rnd 2: April 26th – Brisbane
Rnd 3: June 21st – GoKarting World
Rnd 4: August 23rd – Gold Coast
Rnd 5: October 25th – Brisbane
Rnd 6: December 6th – GoKarting World
Each round, races 1 and 3 of Juniors and Opens will be SWS points eligible.
Pricing & Layout
All races held on a Sunday with a 7am arrival and sign in – 7:30am Drivers briefing
10 Lap Qualifying
2 x 10 Minute Race Sessions
1 x 15 Minute Final Race session
Cost: $120 per Race Event
Online Early Bird entries qualify for $25 practice race sessions the week of the event

Sodi World Series Registration:
To score SWS points, all drivers must separately pre-register with the Sodi World Series, which is a worldwide ranking system for hire kart centres who utilise Sodi’s European racing karts.
